Flywheel Coworking and the Flywheel Foundation are committed to racial equity. We believe that entrepreneurs' ability to solve complex problems will make the world a better place, and we are committed to supporting impact-focused entrepreneurs solving for the Determinants of Health and Happiness.
Only by lifting up the perspectives of the communities being affected by systemic racism can we seek to build new systems that work for everyone.
For these reasons, we will hold hold space for Black and Brown entrepreneurs in our Startup Courses through scholarships. Minority founders who are nominated and selected will join the facilitated cohort at no cost to them and will have access to both the self-directed resources as well as consulting time from seasoned startup experts.
We will select up to two founders for the facilitated courses and unlimited founders for the self-directed courses, provided that founders meet eligibility criteria.
1) Founder identifies as BIPOC.
2) Founder can establish scholarship need.
3) Founder is creating an early- or growth-stage startup.
4) Founder commits to give back to community.
