Hot Spots are businesses and/or community groups along the parade route that give out free hot chocolate or other free treats such as, popcorn, cookies, etc. to parade viewers on parade night. Some also have live music and washroom facilities available. Hot Spots typically start hosting a half hour before the parade starts (at 5:45 pm) as people are gathering. Hot Spots are advertised on all social media and the website.

A Hot spot must agree to hold no other FUNDRAISING during the Light Up Bedford Parade, either cash, food or toys other than in partnership with the LUBP designated charities FeedNS and the Q104 Toy Drive. *
