The Primary Shareholder will be the main contact for NHF and will be responsible for full payment of the share. Additional shareholders may mail in payments by indicating the Primary Shareholder's name in the memo line.

In becoming a member of Northern Harvest Farm you are agreeing to share in the risks and rewards of growing food in the Northland. The Community Supported Agriculture model is built on trust. You as a member trust us to do our best to supply you with a bounty of fresh, wholesome, organic produce. We feel a great sense of responsibility toward our members and pledge to do everything we can to ensure this abundance. The nature of farming is unpredictable and catastrophic losses are possible. In any given year, certain crops are going to do well and others may not. There are many ways that we as farmers can help mitigate risks. These include growing multiple plantings of a diversity of crops, as well as making use of tools such as irrigation, greenhouses, and refrigeration. The most important way we can mitigate risk is by continually working to improve the condition of the land. A healthy soil produces quality crops more consistently and is much more resilient to variable weather patterns than is an impoverished soil. CSA is a great way to get connected with your food, with the land, and with your community. By sharing in the risks and rewards of farming, you are helping to provide a stable foundation for local farmers. This will allow us to continue to take care of the land and to grow healthy food for the local community for many years to come. Thank you!

In order to ensure the highest possible quality and consistency for our members, we have to put a limit on the number of CSA shares we can offer. However, we deeply value your interest in our farm and would like to offer you the opportunity to see what it's like to be a CSA member with Northern Harvest Farm.

You will received 2 or 4 (your choice) deliveries of fresh, local, organic produce. You will receive our weekly email newsletter throughout the course of the CSA season. You will have access to our private CSA member facebook group, and you will have access to early bird pricing for the 2022 CSA season.

1st -Choose either 2 or 4 boxes.

2nd - Choose the dates you'd like to receive your boxes. Please add these dates to your calendar. They are not set in stone. If you decide you'd like to change your dates at any time, just let us know.

3rd - Choose which pick up site and time you'd like to pick up at.

This fund is a voluntary donation. The funds will only be used directly to improve farm operations.

ALL PRESERVING SHARES WILL BE BILLED UPON DELIVERY.

Preserving Shares are NOT part of a CSA share. Each Preserving Share has an EXTRA FEE. Please sign up for what you are interested in, but DO NOT send payment in at this time. We will contact you as they become available. Preserving shares are not guaranteed. Availability depends upon an adequate harvest, which varies from season to season. You may sign up for Preserving Shares if you are not a CSA member, but CSA members will have first priority in the event that we are not able to fill all orders.

NOTE: We like to distinguish between CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Shares and Preserving shares. With the CSA Shares our members are sharing in the risks and rewards of growing food in the Northland. They are the ones that really make our farm possible. Preserving share are a way to purchase larger quantities of a given product from the farm, but do not entail the same level of trust and commitment as the CSA shares.

40 lb box of sun ripened Tomatoes. Great for canning or freezing. Distributed August/September as available.

20 lb tomatoes, 2.5 lb mixed peppers, 3 lb onions, 1 bunch cilantro, 1 bunch basil, 2 large bulbs garlic, and recipe.

25 lb bag of potatoes delivered in fall.

8 lb box of Kale with freezing instructions.

1 lb fresh basil, 1 large bulb garlic, recipe.

35lb of cabbage

1 Quart kimchi (note: this is not a preserving share, but kimchi made by Salt&Brine with Northern Harvest Farm produce.)

COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE (CSA) Shares: Please send an initial payment of at least $50 at this time. The balance is due on June 1st. Payments can be made by check, money order, or Venmo.
