I'm an experienced e-commerce and direct-to-consumer operator with 20 years of Silicon Valley experience. Prior to starting Make Bake I spent 20 years working in e-commerce and consumer technology.
I have held leadership positions at top agencies and startups, including work with Babylist, Williams-Sonoma, PotteryBarn Kids, Change.org, Thumbtack, Walgreens, Epson Printers, CommonSense Media, Babycenter among others.
Lots of coaches, consultants and programs just aren't flexible enough or specific enough to help. You don't need another course or basic strategies like "start a blog to improve SEO". I have a deep well of operational experience across a variety of industries. I also have access to professional grade tools to help me analyze your business so we can find where the opportunities are and how to capitalize on them!
I believe in the strategic "step in" coaching model. I have found the best way to deliver value is to step in and get into your business WITH you. Our sessions will be WORKING sessions! I will NOT be "presenting" or "lecturing" or just regurgitating PDFs designed years ago. We'll be looking at YOUR data, devising strategies for YOUR business and making decisions together. I work at your pace and stay flexible so I'm there when you need me and I'm not charging you when you don't.
I'll also be direct & honest with you. If you have unrealistic expectations of how much traffic you can drive to your site, what AOV is achievable or whether you should be even operating in a specific channel, I'll be honest in my analysis.

My consulting model is straightforward, flexible and founder-friendly:
Step 1: Onboarding & Strategy
This process includes THREE 60 minute, ONE-ON-ONE sessions.
First two sessions: We go deep on your business goals and the current state of the business. Before and in between I do research and analysis. You'll provide me with access to relevant data, reports and assets so I can conduct a meaningful analysis and provide you with actionable, attainable strategies and tactics based on the stage of your business, your resources (time & money) and personal business goals.
Last session: I provide you with a detailed analysis and insights about the current state of your business, a strategy to capitalize on your key opportunities and recommendations. You'll know what you should be working on to move the needle and in what order to tackle those tasks.
The goal is to identify the right strategies for where your business is now and focus on the tasks that deliver the specific outcome you're looking for (usually that's more profitable revenue!) I'll also outline how we can keep working together if you feel you need support to take action with Power Hours.
Investment for The Onboarding & Strategy Sessions is a fixed price of $1950. This covers all three one-on-one working sessions, my time doing research & analysis in between, and the value of the resulting strategy and tactical plan.
Step 2: 60 Minute Power Hours
When you hear from my references (yes you can actually email them!), you'll quickly learn that our 60 minute sessions will provide you with enough strategy AND actionable, specific direction to keep you busy for weeks.
You'll complete a form the week before our session so I know what we'll be working on and can request and review any data or creative assets to help me prepare for our session.
Examples of what we can work on during a Power Hour:
- We can research SEO opportunities and put together a strategy for key products to help drive more top of funnel traffic that converts
- Create a product page design strategy you can implement across categories of product to improve conversion and drive better AOVs
- Create a data analytics dashboard in Google Sheets so you know what you need to be tracking each month and how to easily get it in there
- Review and revise email copy & creative
- Create a new abandoned cart flow for you to test and grow win-back revenue
- Implement an upsell product strategy & tool to increase AOV
- Analyze paid ads data to see if ads are delivering profitable growth
- Deep dive on orders to go beyond AOV and discover profitable customer segments
- Segment your email list for more targeted messaging and better open rates
- Devise a plan to test new products that minimize your financial exposure
- Create a customer interview & feedback plan to get more insights as to why people are (and are not!) buying your products so we can learn & adapt
AFTER our Power Hour you'll get:
- A summary of our meeting so you don't have to stress about missing anything
- A prioritized list of action items
- Access to any resources that I have that can help you execute.
You'll be ready to hit the ground running!
Investment for Power Hours
Option #1 - "Step In" As Needed: $485 per 60 minute Power Hour Session. Book sessions as you need support. No commitment. I'm here when you need me to review, consult and provide feedback and notes to help you take action and get results.
Option #2 - Three Session Package AND Support In Between Sessions: $1255 for THREE x 60 minute Power Hour Sessions. This is a savings on my hourly rate AND you get Voxer & Loom support in between sessions for up to 8 weeks (a $800 value!).
You can send me Looms & Voxer voice memos at your convenience. I will reply once per week to provide timely feedback that helps you make good decisions and keeps you & your business moving forward. Sessions can be used at your convenience during a 3 month period.
Please note: You cannot book Power Hours until you've completed the Onboarding & Strategy process. That first step is critical to ensuring I have a detailed understanding of your business and your goals in order to deliver strategic, actionable value to you!
