NYU Veritas Forum: Hey Siri, How Do I Find Myself? A conversation about spirituality & the phone-based life
Join us for a Veritas Forum at New York University entitled, Hey Siri, How Do I Find Myself? A conversation about spirituality & the phone-based life

When: Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 7pm-8:45pm

Where [Updated Location]: Kimmel, 10th Floor | Rosenthal Pavilion

What: It's hard to figure out what to do with our phones—text our friends, play Wordle, or waste time scrolling TikTok. But it's even harder to figure out what our phones are doing to us. Are they making us more confident or more anxious? More self-expressive or more self-conscious? Are they helping or distracting us in our journey to self-discovery?

At this Veritas Forum event at NYU, Wendy Suzuki (author, Good Anxiety) will moderate a discussion between Jonathan Haidt (author, The Anxious Generation) and Andy Crouch (author, The Life We're Looking For) about the effects of technology on our personal and spiritual lives and what we can do about it.

Please note that this event is first come, first serve. Wolfnights Wraps and Insomnia cookies will be provided.

Registration for guests without a NYU ID will close at 5pm the day of the event.

***Registration for outside guests is closed*** Those with NYU ID Cards can still come
