The CRC shares open lobby space with the Safe Office, a division of the University Counseling Center, that provides confidential 24/7 crisis response, advocacy, consultation, accompaniment, trauma-informed therapy, and ongoing support services to undergraduate and graduate Reynolda Campus students for concerns related to interpersonal violence. Due to the nature of the work of the Safe Office, it is important that the space remain quiet and without disruption to the staff and students seeking services.
Unless there is an emergency, do not knock on a closed Safe Office door. Forgetting your student ID or being unable to access the CRC is not considered an emergency. If you're unable to access the CRC you are requested to utilize shared common space on campus (such as ZRS, Reynolda Hall, etc.) and not sit in the hallway adjoining the Safe Office and the CRC.
