Below, you will see serving opportunities for you to sign up for the rest of the week. These opportunities are for you and your children to participate in with your supervision and participation. Whether you can come one day or all week, we'd love to serve the city with you!
H.O.P. E of Winston Salem - an organization that uses community-wide volunteer support to prepare and bring nutritious weekend meals to the thousands of children in Forsyth County who are at risk for hunger. We will be baking healthy breads that go in lunches that are delivered to at need children on Saturday.
Crossnore School and Children's Home offers a holistic approach to treating the whole child, emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually by providing a Christian sanctuary of hop and healing through residential services, clinical services, and foster care and adoption services.
Cook Elementary is an elementary school within our community that we have a long term relationship with. We have come alongside them through community groups to serve students, teachers and staff in strategic ways.
We will be helping H.O.P.E of Winston-Salem at their location to get their weekly donations organized and prepped so that meals can be assembled for Saturday packing and Sunday distributions. We will also be delivering the items we baked on Monday evening.
6pm - 7pm We will be assembling Love baskets with Hope and Love Foundation.Hope and Love Foundation is an organization with a mission to love, serve, and inspire hope in others who are battling cancer and to bless families while showing them the kindness of Christ. Three of their representatives will come to show us how to assemble Love baskets that will be donated to families during their weekly meal delivery.
