2017 MHSLA Student Scholarship Application
The Michigan Health Science Libraries Association (MHSLA) is pleased to offer two student scholarships for the annual conference. Applicants must be either a student in a Michigan Library Science program (e.g. Library Technician degree; Masters in Library Science, either on campus or via distance learning) or a library science student working in a Michigan health sciences library taking classes online in a non-Michigan program. The scholarship is no longer limited to just two universities. Preference will be given to students interested in health science librarianship.

The scholarship includes full conference registration, including meetings, workshops, lodging, meals, and mileage. Scholarship recipients are expected to write a brief summary of their conference experience for the MHSLA newsletter and assist at the registration/hospitality desk.

The 2017 Joint Meeting of the Midwest Chapter of the Medical Library Association and Michigan Health Sciences Libraries Association will be held October 14-16, 2017 at the Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest Hotel.

Please fill out this form completely. The deadline to apply is April 30, 2017. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered. Recipients will be notified within 2 weeks of the application deadline.
