Many of you have been asking how you can support queer folks in Vermont, especially in this moment when the national spotlight is focused on Vermont's trans and queer youth in some pretty negative ways. Volunteering to help put on a fair full of queer joy and creativity and community is one concrete way that you can actively show up and be an ally! Another way to be an ally is to invite folks you know to come and shop at the fair, supporting queer makers with both your presence and your dollars. Together, we can build a more resilient, joyful, inclusive community — a community that puts power back in the hands of those folks who often live on the margins, and leaves no one behind.
