Since 1997, The Fund has developed strong roots within our community by providing education and grant support to 80 nonprofit agencies in Chester County. We lead and unite our community through philanthropy and advocacy to ensure that women and girls have the resources they need to thrive including access to housing and medical care and increasing access to economic opportunities for women.

Through the Gladys Black Woman of Distinction Award, an honor named in memory of The Fund’s late friend and committed Board Member, the Fund seeks to recognize a woman for her commitment to the advancement of women in professional and leadership roles.

The fifth Gladys Black Woman of Distinction Award will be presented to the Awardee at the annual Champions of Change Breakfast on Wednesday, October 27, 2021.
