Cruel Consequences: Portraits of Misguided Law
Collateral consequences like denial of housing, employment, college loans, child custody etc. often last a lifetime after even the smallest of marijuana convictions. No matter how you feel about marijuana, most people agree people should not pay for life. Much of the public are not aware of these collateral consequences.

We've just started this project in October and thanks to help from Virginia NORML, we have been able create a way to educate the public of these injustices.

Cruel Consequences is a portrait series exhibit to bring awareness to how marijuana charges in Virginia are ruining lives. These portraits of people are part of a travelling gallery exhibit to appear across Virginia for Virginians and lawmakers to experience these powerful stories.

Please visit our website to find out more and like us on facebook, instagram, and twitter.

Please reach out to friends, family, other marijuana law reform supporters to help us find compelling stories of Virginia residents that show the cruelty of the collateral consequences from criminal enforcement of prohibition.

We hope to bring this project nationwide and include stories from across the country. Please contact us if you are interested.
