Thank you for your interest in sponsoring a child through CORE Uganda and The Samaritan Nursery and Primary School. Our students attend the school 12 months a year at a total cost of $250. We have over 150 children housed, fed, given medical care and education. Our students include orphans and those with parents that can contribute often barter for their tuition costs. CORE Uganda is a non-profit organization out of St. Leonard Parish in Berwyn, IL. where Father Alex Ojacor, the founder and President of CORE Uganda, is an associate pastor. As a non-profit organization your sponsorship of $250 is also tax deductible.

With your Sponsorship, we will choose a child with the most financial need. You will receive the child's biography as an introduction. We will send you a letter from the child and/or school work (depending on the child's age and skill level). We will continue to post on our website and Facebook pages videos from the school. The students have been learning and growing beyond our expectation and we now have many entering into middle school! See a sample of the children's biography below.

C.O.R.E. (Creating Opportunities through Reaching Out and Education) provides the rural villages an opportunity to keep the children of this area safe, nourished and educated for ongoing future growth and sustainability. We support village activities like safe water provision, healthcare, agriculture, youth groups and a women micro-finance group. At this time, we have 106 children in need of sponsorship. Our organization is a committee of all volunteers and all funds will go to the children.
