Fall 2026-Spring 2027 Class & Workshop Proposals
Extraordinary Education does not predetermine our class offerings each year. Our schedule is based on the courses proposed by our teachers. Creativity is encouraged, so please offer classes about which you are knowledgeable, passionate, and that will be interesting and valuable to our students and families. The sky is the limit!

- Please complete a NEW FORM for EACH CLASS, CLUB, TEAM or WORKSHOP you would like to propose.
- The DEADLINE to submit a proposal for the FALL 2025 semester is FEBRUARY 15, 2025.
- Late proposals WILL be considered on a case by case basis. Please note that the specific day/time requested may not be available for late proposals. Please also keep in mind that new classes and teachers are rarely added later in the year due to the difficulty in filling classes. Parents need time to consider and plan their schedules. PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR CLASS PROPOSALS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SO THAT THOSE WHO PLAN THE SCHEDULE WILL HAVE AMPLE TIME TO DO SO. Removing a class is easier than squeezing one in.
- This form is for new classes by current teachers or new classes by new teachers only. You have a google form for continuing classes if you are already on contract. Regardless, PLEASE REVIEW YOUR SUPPLY FEE AMOUNT REQUEST IN LIGHT OF ACTUAL SUPPLY FEE USE THIS YEAR.
- EE Teachers are Independent Contractors. EE's role in your class is to provide classroom space, logistical and scheduling support, general liability coverage for participants, limited advertising and fee collection services. Teachers are responsible for curriculum selection, course content, parent communication, and CUSTOMER SERVICE as it pertains to your classes as well as parent concerns regarding your classes.
- A NEW TEACHER APPLICATION must accompany the first Class Proposal by a new teacher.
- New teachers must also complete a BACKGROUND CHECK and a PERSONAL INTERVIEW prior to being added to the schedule.
- Please note that NEW Teachers are generally limited to 2 classes their first semester teaching at EE. Teachers with a large clientele that will follow them to our location may be scheduled for more class hours on a case by case basis.
- Please also be aware that Extraordinary Education is a Christian faith-based organization. Our policies require that all teachers be in support of our Statement of Faith. https://www.extraordinaryeducation.org/faith-statement

Required Books:
Please list all required student books and/or workbooks you will need to teach this class. Please list the title and author if possible. (Include the ISBN or website where the book can be purchased if possible.) If the book is supplemental or optional, please indicate that in your list. Please note that EE's normal policy is to purchase consumable books from the supply fee and/or acquire a class set of non-consumable books and rent them back to students. All non-consumable materials purchased with supply fee monies become property of EE. IT IS THE TEACHER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO PURCHASE NEEDED BOOKS OR TO SUBMIT A TIMELY REQUEST TO THE EE OFFICE TO PURCHASE BOOKS ON THE TEACHER'S BEHALF. (Please keep in mind that the cost of consumable books and/or book rental ($10/student/book) must come from student supply fee money.)
*
Other Teaching Materials (non-consumable):
Please list specific teaching materials you will need for this class. Example: teacher's edition, answer key, videos, math manipulatives, reference books, art prints, maps, etc. Please only list non-consumable (reusable) items in this section. Teachers may, of course, use their own materials to teach the class. All non-consumable materials purchased with Supply Fee monies become property of EE. IT IS THE TEACHER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO PURCHASE ALL NEEDED MATERIALS OR TO SUBMIT A TIMELY REQUEST TO THE EE OFFICE TO PURCHASE MATERIALS ON THE TEACHER'S BEHALF. (Please keep in mind that the cost of non-consumable teaching materials must come from student supply fee money. In certain cases, large-ticket items such as lab equipment, robotics kits, etc. can be purchased one year and then a portion charged to current and subsequent classes)
*
Consumable Supplies:
Please give a general description of the consumable supplies students will need for this class. Please indicate whether the teacher or the student will be responsible to purchase each type of supplies. Example: art supplies, experiment supplies, markers, colored pencils, special notebook or papers (graph paper, picture/story paper, etc.) IT IS THE TEACHER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO PURCHASE ALL NEEDED SUPPLIES OR TO SUBMIT A TIMELY REQUEST TO THE EE OFFICE TO PURCHASE SUPPLIES ON THE TEACHER'S BEHALF. (Please keep in mind that the cost of all consumable supplies must come from student supply fee money.)
*
Copies:
Please indicate the approximate amount and types of copies you will need to make for this class. Incidental copies (up to 5 black & white copies per class period, occasional color copies) may be made in the EE workroom without reimbursement. The office should be reimbursed out of supply fees for larger quantities of copies and entire workbooks. Large quantities of color copies, card stock, special papers and transparencies should be figured into your class budget. Card stock, colored paper and special papers should be purchased and provided by the instructor when making copies at the EE campus.

Supply Fee Request:
Considering the cost of ALL MATERIALS LISTED ABOVE that will need to be purchased to teach this class, what is the amount of Supply Fees you will need PER STUDENT / PER SEMESTER? NOTE: The SUPPLY FEE you list here will be charged AUTOMATICALLY to your students. This amount will be divided into an equal Fall and Spring amount unless otherwise noted. If you need more funds in the fall (for books, workbooks, etc.) please note the needed amounts below. Please figure $5/student/semester for book rental if using non-consumable books provided by EE. Please use the entire book cost if using consumable workbooks and/or copies. Please budget $5/student/semester to be retained by EE for general facility supplies and copies. ALL RECEIPTS MUST BE TURNED IN TO THE EE OFFICE. Teachers will be expected to keep expenses within their requested budget. Any overages will NOT be covered by EE. MINIMUM SUPPLY FEE is $10/Student/Semester ($5 to EE + $5 to Teacher) This does not include any books or other supplies. Please try to keep Supply Fees within reason!
Equipment and Facility Needs:
Please list your equipment and facility needs for this class. Example: lab equipment, video projector, overhead projector, TV, computer(s), internet connection, sink access, tile floor, oven, microwave, furniture needs, wall space needs (maps, charts, displays), floor space needs (exercise area, stage area), etc. We will try to honor facility and equipment requests as much as we are able. Please be aware that it is up to the teacher to set up their own room and gather needed materials, furniture, A/V equipment, etc. from around the building as necessary. Teachers are also welcome to bring their own equipment as needed. Secure storage space in the classroom may be available, but it is NOT guaranteed. PLEASE LABEL ALL PERSONAL PROPERTY LEFT ON CAMPUS.
Class Cost / Compensation Preference:
What is the preferred tuition/compensation structure for this class? "Full price" classes are charged at our standard tuition rates and teachers receive full contractor compensation. Low-cost "clubs" are charged the "study hall" rate and supply fees only. Club sponsors receive $10/hr for club meetings regardless of enrollment as long as the club keeps a minimum enrollment of 3 students. NOTE: "Graded" and "enrichment" classes are compensated and charged at the same rate.
