What is the study about? 這項研究的關於甚麼的呢?
When we are to retrieve information, some will almost immediately turn to the internet to find the required information; internet is almost becoming part of our “external memory”. This study hopes to understand how people use the internet to retrieve information; and to investigate people’s reliance on the internet to retrieve information. Another aim of this study is to examine how people’s attitude towards change develops; and how this attitude influence on the adaptability of internet use. We will also investigate if there is any cultural difference between Australia and Hong Kong Chinese participants on their access of information from the internet.

Your participation in this study will greatly help us to understand how people of different generation and cultures adapt to the internet; and subsequently how modern learners from different cultures learn via information technology. Despite our increasing reliance on the internet and information technology, study in this area is relatively new and is often being under-researched. Therefore, your participation is very important.
