Peer Mentor to New Musician student ratio is 3/1 • 3+ students with special needs. • 14+ rehearsals per semester (where possible) • 1 performance per semester (including New Musicians, Peer Mentors, and Ensemble Support Musicians)

Program Accountability
We ask that all United Sound clubs work with us to collect data on the program and maintain a high level of accountability. There are 3 requirements: REHEARSAL FEEDBACK FORM Student Chapter Presidents (at least one) fill out the online form each month. PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT FORM Student Chapter Presidents (at least one) fill out the online form following each performance. Annual SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENT Form. Narrative answers about the club. To be completed by all mentors, music teachers, and special education teachers at the end of each school year.

Third Party Involvement
Donations made specifically to your music ensemble by sponsors/donors that are not also supporting the national United Sound organization and initiative shall not reference the United Sound program in their own promotional materials in any way, unless previously agreed to by United Sound, Inc.

Student Registration
I certify that no students will participate in United Sound programming without prior registration on the United Sound website. It is my responsibility as a Club Sponsor to cross-check that the parent/guardian every participant has completed the online form (or hard copy form if required) before club activities begin.

Presentations
We encourage performances of all kinds by your students! Informational presentations about United Sound, however, are not allowed. For example, a performance by your ensemble, including United Sound members, at your state convention would be a wonderful way to share the mission. An informational presentation about United Sound at your state convention, however, is not. Please ask if you have any questions about the gray area.
