Thank you for your interest in our Port Solent Oceans of Hope Challenge Day Sails onboard The Spirit of Scott Bader wheelchair accessible catamaran! We are thrilled to offer you the opportunity to apply to join us for this adventurous and unique experience for people living with MS.

If you need to, you are welcome to bring a carer with you.

The dates for the event are 7th July, 27th July and 28th July 2026. You can apply for more than one date if you wish.

The location for this event is: Port Solent Marina, Portsmouth, PO6 4TP

The cost of this event is: free with a refundable deposit of £30 to secure your space. This cost has generously been subsidised by funding from charitable trusts.

The Spirit of Scott Bader is a fully wheelchair accessible catamaran. You can access the boat in your wheelchair via a ramp, sail the boat from your wheelchair and there is a lift to the toilet.

You do not have to be a wheelchair user to attend this event.

Our events are always in high demand, and as a result, we maintain a waiting list. Participants are selected based on the following criteria: the date your application is received, your volunteer status, mobility needs, and priority is given to those who did not secure a spot in previous challenge events.

We look forward to receiving your application for this incredible challenge!
