About the Rose Arts Festival Downtown:
In 2018, The Rose Arts Festival brought you 40 bands and tons of Fine Art across 18 venues in one day! 2019 promises to be bigger and better.

SCHEDULE:
FEBRUARY 15th - Exhibition announced
MAY 3rd- Final Deadline for Submission
MAY 22nd - Artists notified via email, letter, or phone provided by artist in their application
JUNE 18th to the 22nd - Drop off in person at ArtSpace!
JUNE 22nd - JULY 6th - Exhibition
JUNE 29th THE ROSE ARTS FESTIVAL!


ELIGIBILITY:
This is a juried exhibition for artists working in drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, wall mounted sculpture, collage, and video.
This exhibition is open to all artists 16 years of age or older.

SUBMISSIONS AND FEES:
Only original works may be submitted. There is NO FEE to submit to or participate in The Rose Arts Festival Downtown After Dark. All entries must be registered/received by May 3rd, 2019 11:59 PM MT.

PRESENTATION:
1. Maximum Size: 40” X 40” X 8” Depth
2. All artwork must be suitably framed to a professional standard. All framed work must use Plexiglas, except work less than 11” x 17”. Assemblage, canvas and wood panels do not require a frame. No clip frames, saw-tooth hangers or taped edges are permitted.
3. Work must be wired or have a cleat attachment and be ready for hanging. A label must be affixed to the back of the work that indicates which end is the top and includes the following: Artist Name, Title, Medium, Dimensions, and Price. This information must correspond with the Accepted image as listed on Notification form. No artwork may be substituted.
4. Work cannot be withdrawn, nor sales shipped, before the end of the exhibit.

DELIVERY:
Artists will be responsible for hand delivery and pick up of all their artwork. The artist assumes all responsibility for insuring artwork against shipping damage or loss.

LIABILITY:
The Rose Arts Festival or ArtSpace is not responsible for any damage, breakage, replacement or cost associated with any damage or breakage that may have occurred during unpacking or hanging of the work. Every precaution will be taken in handling the work, but The Rose Arts Festival ssumes no liability for any loss or damage to any artist’s work while in our care, custody or control, before, during or after the exhibition. Each artist, if they wish, needs to provide their own insurance.

SALES/COMMISSIONS:
All artwork may be priced for sale. The price represented on the artist entry form will be the sale price. No changes will be allowed. All inquiries for sale will be referred to the artist. All transactions will be handled by the artist. No artwork may be withdrawn until the pick up date after the exhibition.

In the message include title, dimensions, materials, and date of artwork. We will let artists know of their acceptance by May 22nd! Thank you!
