Hillels of Westchester has the EXCITING opportunity to host Campus Corps Interns to serve our campuses. Will you be one?

THIS APPLICATION CLOSES OCTOBER 15th 2021. You may be asked to do an interview via Zoom with Hannah from Hillels of Westchester once your application has been submitted.

****Responsibilities & Intern Experience****

Student Corps Interns will...

...have the opportunity to pursue an issue-based educational cohort based on their own interests and passions. This year’s issue areas include: Environmental Justice, Disability Inclusion/Justice, Racial Justice, Food Justice, Housing Justice, and Education Equity. Each cohort will engage in a four-part education series which will introduce the topic area as well as its connection to Jewish values and will equip students to take relevant and meaningful tangible action steps...

...engage their peers in service, civic engagement, and social justice work during the 2021-2022 school year. The program will run from October 2021 to May 2022. (This program was formerly known as the Serve the Moment Campus Corps Program).
-The Fall semester will be focused on learning and planning
-The Spring semester will be focused on doing: running events, volunteering & making a difference in your campus/area community...

...attend virtual orientation via Zoom during the week of October 18th...

...attend monthly education cohort Zoom calls between October-January...

...complete at least 10 acts of service and learning by May 2022...

...engage at least 25 additional students in service and learning by May 2022 & track and report service and engagement numbers using a google form...


Each student intern will receive $500 directly from Repair the World for their participation in the program. Interns will also have access to additional funds to use for their internship projects.
