Request for Presentations for Virtual Summit
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT PROPOSALS: Monday, December 16, 2025 midnight EST

Summit is Friday, January 31st 12:00-16:00 Eastern Time Zone.
All presentations will be in English.

This virtual meeting of the International Fab Educators Network will share solutions and challenges of working with K-12 students in digital makerspaces and Fab Labs.

EduFAB welcomes submissions for 45-minute virtual workshops or 20 minute lightning talks that can engage, excite, and encourage collaboration from conference attendees. We want you to share best practices, creative solutions, demonstrate successful lesson plans or projects, or explore ideas with other educators.

Virtual workshop space is limited, and the selection committee is looking for educators and others who are willing to share their own best practices, challenges, and ideas.
  • Attendees should walk away from your presentation with tools or ideas for use in their own context.
  • Content should be practitioner-focused.
  • For 45 minute workshops, attendees should be able to follow along at home or engage on the computer.
  • 20 minute presentations should be inspirational and offer tools or takeaways for educators to try in their own classroom.
**There is also an opportunity to pre-record your session so that we can share it with the community. If you can pre-record your talk or workshop, we will feature the video in a future eduFAB email blast to keep up community engagement as we wait for the next Summit in 2026.**
