Dear 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade Parents & Guardians,

The New York State (NYS) Tests for grades 3–5 in English Language Arts (ELA), Math, and Science (science is only for 4th grade students) will be administered in-person in April (ELA), May (Math), and June (Science). In preparation for the tests, we are reaching out to our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade families to ask if your child will be testing this year. Please complete the form below to let us know if you would like your child to participate in testing for this year. THE DEADLINE TO RESPOND IS APRIL 12TH.

For Remote Families - If you would like your child to participate, your child will need to attend the in-person administration of the test. The assigned date and time will be shared at a later date.

In-Person Families - If you do not want your child to participate, they can still come to school on the testing days. They will be given work to complete while the other children in their class are taking the test.

If you would like your child to take any of the NYS Assessments in grades 3, 4, & 5, please complete the questions below no later than April 12, 2021. If you do not want your child to participate in the NYS assessments, no further action is needed.
