2019 NCHO (ACUHO-I, RELI, NHTI) Scholarship Form
NCHO Scholarships are offered throughout the year to deserving members of NCHO in each of the following categories. To be eligible for a Scholarship, candidates must follow the criteria for the specific award and submit the application and any required supporting documents.

Scholarship Eligibility:

All NCHO members are eligible to apply for the general scholarships that are offered. Scholarship decisions are made by a group of the organizations Past Presidents. All decisions are based on financial need and how attendance at any of the listed conferences will impact the professional development of the individual applying.

Scholarships currently accepting applications:

Regional Entry Level Institute (RELI) DEADLINE: March 15, 2019

The Regional Entry Level Institute (RELI) is an intensive professional development experience for entry-level professionals who aspire to mid-level positions in housing and residence life. RELI is open to housing/residence life professionals with one to three years of experience. Participants are clustered with other participants and a faculty member who is a mid- to senior-level professional. In an effort to maintain the mentoring environment and ensure faculty/participant engagement, only 32 participants are selected per year.

ACUHO-I Scholarship DEADLINE: March 15, 2019

ACUHO-I’s largest event, the Annual Conference & Exposition (June 22-25, 2019 in Toronto, CANADA) brings together campus housing professionals from around the globe for four days of invigorating speakers, engaging educational sessions, and invaluable networking opportunities.
NCHO will offer one (1) scholarship to cover the cost of early-bird registration.

James C. Grimm National Housing Training Institute (NHTI) DEADLINE: March 15, 2019

NHTI provides a thorough and intensive professional development experience for professionals with three to seven years of full-time experience who are looking to further their careers in housing. Participants meet and interact with other colleagues, establish mentor relationships with experts in the field, create professional development plans, and gain skills and competencies needed to meet the current and future demands of the profession.

NCHO will offer one (1) scholarship of up to $500 to help with attending NHTI. (Current cost is $1600 + transportation).
