Koori Gras creative workshops are FREE and provide an exciting opportunity for First People’s qweer artists to develop new performance work in a culturally stimulating environment. Guest facilitator Cherish Violet Blood (Black Foot, Canada/Turtle Island) brings her own unique First People’s perspective to the art of performance.
Over one week running from the 19-24 February 2017, the creative workshops are staggered to accommodate artists working in other sectors, offering morning and afternoon sessions. The goal of the workshops is to join us in performing at the Black Nulla Cabaret Night on Saturday night 24th Feb at Carriageworks. Black Nulla is a celebration of qweer black performance with leading local, national and international guests, plus your favourite drag artists and DJs.
