CNPS SCV Community College Scholarship Application 
The purpose of this scholarship is to support students who wish to deepen their knowledge of native plants. The California Native Plant Society, Santa Clara Valley Chapter, is offering a $1500 scholarship for an inspired, deserving student who shows a commitment to their studies in one of the following fields: native plant horticulture, native plant ecology, native habitat or park management. The student should have a goal of working in a field with a focus on native plants or their habitat, and should have already taken, or plan to take a course that is dedicated to or includes substantial information about native plants before completion of their degree. 

The scholarship is open to community college students and high school seniors whose primary residence is in San Mateo or Santa Clara County, or are attending, or have applied to college in one of these counties. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5  Please submit this application and the requested materials by March15, 2025.
