Your acceptance as a member is determined by the Ausable Valley Grange Farmers’ Market Committee and its host sites. If you are not accepted, your membership fee will be refunded to you with an explanation.

The $50 membership fee is due with the application; seasonal fees must be paid by May 1. Make checks payable to the Ausable Valley Grange. Daily fees are collected by the Market Manager.

It is the responsibility of each member to comply with all Federal, State, and Local Laws and regulations applicable to their products and business. To assist in obtaining necessary certificates, permits and licenses, the following information is offered:

1. Sales Tax

Items marked as being sold by weight must be weighed on scales inspected and sealed by the county.

Copies of any necessary certificates, permits, insurance forms, and licenses must be on file with the Ausable Valley Grange Farmers Market Committee before you can sell at the market. It is the responsibility of all vendors to comply with all packaging, labeling, grading, signage, and pricing requirements applicable to their products.

If you plan to sell products that require collecting sales tax, please include a copy of your Certificate of Authority (NYS Sales Tax). Also include any other necessary licenses and/or permits with this application. If any inspection is pending, the license/permit must be sent to the AVGFMC before you attend any markets.

Agreement made [above dated field "Today's Date"] between [above named field "Name of Owner/Member"] and the AUSABLE VALLEY GRANGE FARMERS MARKET COMMITTEE, hereinafter referred to as THE “AVGFMC".

I. Agreement to abide by the Market Regulations:
A. I have read and agree to abide by the AVGFMC Rules and Regulations (available at: http://www.ausablevalleygrangefarmersmarkets.com/vendor-info.html ).
B. The information I have provided with my application is accurate and complete. I will provide the AVGFMC additional information as needed to verify the claims made in the application and my compliance with AVGFMC rules. The information I subsequently provide will likewise be accurate and complete.
C. I understand that the AVGFMC and its host sites are non-profit organizations operating with limited funds. I acknowledge that the AVGFMC programs will be impossible to pursue if it is subjected to costly litigation. Wherefore I hereby agree that as a condition of my participation, I will not resort to litigation against the AVGFMC, its officers, and affiliated entities. I will attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute through the AVGFMC, by submitting a written complaint. I agree to limit any claim I may have, as a result of a decision by the AVGFMC which results in the denial of market acceptance, the denial of a product to sell or wrongful suspension or termination from AVGFMC, to a return of market fees incurred during my absence from the market.
II. Use of AVGFMC Sites:
I agree to sell products or deliver CSA shares at AVGFMC market sites only on the days the market is scheduled, unless I receive written authorization from the AVGFMC to the contrary. I understand that while AVGFMC obtains permits, reserves designated space, and promotes markets, the AVGFMC cannot guarantee market assignments or minimum sales at any market.


III. Suspension and Termination:
I agree that any violation of this agreement that may result in suspension or termination from an AVGFMC Market is solely at the discretion of the AVGFMC.

IV. Duration of Agreement:
This agreement applies to the current Market season only, and in no way implies acceptance to an AVGFMC market in the future. Nor does it imply continuation of this program in future seasons.


BY ENTERING MY NAME AND SUBMITTING THIS FORM, I AGREE TO ABIDE BY ANY APPLICABLE LOCAL, STATE, AND FEDERAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS WHEN SELLING AT THE MARKET, AND I HAVE READ THE AUSABLE VALLEY GRANGE FARMERS MARKET COMMITTEE RULES AND REGULATIONS AND AGREE TO ABIDE BY THEM IN ALL WAYS.
