Dezjorn International 2020 Travel Grant
Dezjorn International LLC and The Dezjorn International Foundation Inc has established a scholarship to help "continue to BE YOU" and achieve the goal of providing trans* individuals of color from the the United States scholarships to attend the 2020 Black Trans Advocacy Conference.
The goal of the Dezjorn International Foundation Grant is to encourage trans* individuals of color to continue leadership and inspiration within our society. The scholarship award helps to cover conference travel only, in response to the need of low income trans* individuals of color participating in community, health & leadership development.
The grant has no cash value and is awarded as funds are available. Applications are reviewed annually. The next application deadline is March 17, 2020.
The mission of Black Trans Advocacy is a social justice alliance of the Black Transmen Inc, Black Transwomen Inc & Black Trans International Pageantry System organizations. BTAC is committed to the advancement of black and trans people and the liberation of all disenfranchised people by working collaboratively to help end race and gender inequalities. BTAC 2020 conference mission is inviting transgender and gender non-conforming individuals and our family, friends and community allies to gather, educate, learn, build and grow together in unity.
Dezjorn International Foundation board members will review your essay, Executive Director, Dezjórn Gauthier will select the winning candidate(s). The company will provide direct travel payment to and from BTAC 2020. Dezjorn International is not responsible for missed travel accommodations, additional fees for travel (such as luggage), delays in travel, or hotel arrangements. Dezjorn International LLC or The Dezjorn international Foundation are not liable for anything lost or stolen during your travel. Hosting Hotel and BTAC are not responsible for the above grant.
