Participants will receive instruction in dance, acting, and vocal coaching in the style of musical theater. Under the supervision of the directors, participants will also be coached by high school students, as well as enjoy the opportunity to work alongside students from all of our area middle schools. Camp will culminate in up to two performances on Friday, June 21st at the Romeoville High School Auditorium. Admission to performances is free. Performances will take place on the final day of the camp.
Dates for the camp are June 10-14 and June 17-21. Tuition of $250 includes daily breakfast and lunch, camp T-Shirt, and an individual vocal coaching. Early Registration (before April 1st) is $225. If you are registering an additional child, the tuition for a second participant is $175.
Registration and Refunds: Registration and payment for the Summer Camp must be completed and submitted to the BHS Music Boosters. Full payment is required at the time of registration to reserve the child’s space. Registration fees cover activity fees, meals, t-shirt and costume rental. Due to limited space, refunds will not be given. Registration is only permitted for Valley View School District students.
Age Guidelines: The Summer Camp is for Valley View students entering 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grade.
Hours of Operation/Location of Camp: Summer Camp hours are Monday-Friday 7:45 am (breakfast) - 1:00 pm. Summer Camp for 2019 will take place at Romeoville High School: 100 North Independence Blvd, Romeoville. 60446. Dates for the camp are June 10-14 and June 17-21. There will be potentially 2 performances on June 21.
