BGE Regulator Petition

BGE’s Operation Pipeline includes installing additional piping and a regulator on the exterior of your home; a design that does not take into consideration the safety repercussions of installation in a high-trafficked (pedestrian and vehicular) urban environment such as Baltimore City and its unique neighborhoods.

After several meetings between BGE and affected communities, BGE has decided to ignore community input and move forward with their installations while offering NO SOLUTION to relocate regulator placement citing "internal policies". Meanwhile it has been documented that BGE has relocated other installation options prior to this latest phase of Operation Pipeline.

Sign the petition below to ask our elected leaders and the Maryland Public Service Commission to take action by assisting Baltimore communities in pausing the installation of outside gas regulators in Baltimore City and coming up with a real solution that takes into account our high density and historic neighborhoods.
