DFA Community Partner: interest form
Every semester, DFA teams of 4-6 students work with community partners (local organizations) to scope a project and tackle a social problem together. We would not be able to make "good," empathetic design without insight from groups such as yours - both through your organization and connection to everyday users.

Past and current community partners include: Cleveland Clinic's Office of Patient Experience, the Music Settlement, Ronald McDonald House, U.S. Together, and Rustbelt Riders.

Your commitment involves communicating with the team on a bi-weekly or less frequent basis, providing opportunities for user input, and considering ways to implement the final solution(s). Our job is to provide dedicated students who offer fresh perspectives and skills from all majors and backgrounds. Student participation in DFA is completely voluntary - we are simply motivated by creative problem-solving and making positive impact.

Please note: this form indicates interest in working with a DFA team in the next year (Spring 2019 - Fall 2019). Thank you!
