Russell: A Place of Promise (RPOP) is excited to announce our partnership with
Pit Stop Runners Club for a run and walk in the beautiful historic neighborhood of Russell during the
2025 OuR Home: Russell Homecoming Weekend Thursday, September 18 - Saturday, September 21! On your route
getting your steps and/or miles in you'll be able to able to see significant community art and historic landmarks, celebrating Black creativity and history in the Russell neighborhood and Louisville. We hope you can join us!
8:30am - Warm Up
9:00am - Start run/walk (two separate routes)
Meet at RPOP's Office, 1718 W Muhammad Ali by 8:30am for a warmup. Walkers and Runners will head out at 9am for their routes. Parking is available on the street and the small lot next to the building. Arrive by 8:30am to ensure you have enough time to stretch, meet fellow runners/walkers, and grab some water/coffee before you head out.
Sign up by Wednesday, September 17. You'll receive the route a couple days before the event.
