News Challenge registration form
The News Challenge will enable participating classes to immerse themselves in news and current affairs using First News and the BETT Award winning First News iHub, which will be provided free of charge during the school-based part of the project. Pupils will be tasked with becoming a community of news-savvy, informed world citizens. Four students from each class will then represent their school in a day of competitive and collaborative news challenges, alongside all schools involved in the challenge
The project will launch with a CPD session for teachers to introduce the project and to plan for the school-based activities. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a community of news readers and writers in school, who can understand how reliable news is produced.
Only 12 teachers can join this project and places are prioritised for London South TSA members, so sign up quickly to reserve a place. Join this project for £75pp (Member schools receive 20% discount). Express your interest in joining this programme here.
