The mere fact that you're signing UP - fills us with excitement and joy - as we are committed to expanding JOY and need bold beaming lights - like you - to be part of this extraordinary mission.


This form is an all in one commitment, indemnity and information form for those keen on joining UP and facilitating joy. We have an online training available immediately to view and learn and bonus extra footage from previous online trainings too.

We have many ways that this training is then put into action, which includes and is not limited to - Caring for Caregivers, Elderly and Frail care joy and Care Clowning, Story Sharing, Dance, StoryJams and Play for little people and young adults.

The foundation of The UP's training is - JOY facilitator training...

Only once certified are you paid to facilitate joy - until then - you are an apprentice "Joy Facilitator".

Your training is online - in 5 x 90min sessions, you then join up with other joy facilitators in your area and do 5 volunteer hour visits, finally you have a peer interview and by then we know you'll be rocking our joy flow, so - you are then certified.

This can be weekly or monthly... please state. Eg 1 hour per week, 3 hours per month...
Our new program encourages all Joy Facilitators to be engaged with enrolling people to be monthly supporters - might you be willing to do this too? (please click on yes or no)

Imagine what would happen if all Joy Facilitators enrolled 10 friends to all donate between R50 - R500 every month... Outreach and joy facilitating could roll out nationwide and we might all be paid consistently to do this very valuable emotionally uplifting work.

INDEMNITY & VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT *

Volunteer / JF (Joy Facilitator) Agreement and Release

1. Personal Responsibility:

Volunteers / JFs  agree to maintain their own health and wellness and commit to treating others with respect and kindness.

2. Assumption of Risk:

Volunteers  / JFs  accept the risks of injury associated with participating in activities related to The Upliftment Programme, including traveling to and from events.Volunteers  / JFs  understand that they are participating at their own risk and that the organization and benficiaries is not liable for any resulting injuries or damages.

3. Insurance:

The Upliftment Programme does not provide insurance coverage for volunteers / JFs , including liability or medical insurance.Volunteers / JFs  must have their own medical insurance or the means to cover any medical expenses incurred during their participation.

4. Publicity Release:

Volunteers  / JFs  consent to the use of their photographs, audio, or video recordings taken during activities for publicity purposes by The Upliftment Programme.Volunteers  / JFs  may opt out of this by informing the leader / supervisor.

5. Indemnity and Release:

Volunteers / JFs  agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Upliftment Programme, including its trustees, directors, officers, and representatives, from any claims, damages, or losses arising from their participation, except in cases of willful misconduct by the organization.

6. Severability:

If any provision of this agreement is deemed unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

7. Acknowledgment:

Volunteers  / JFs  confirm that they have read, understood, and voluntarily signed this agreement.They acknowledge that no additional oral promises or inducements were made beyond what is stated in this written agreement.

8. Governing Law:

This agreement is governed by the laws of South Africa *
