Application for Board Director
This is an application for a Director's position on the WRAC Board. Please complete and submit for review.

We are so glad that you have shown an interest in becoming a board member for the Wray Rehabilitation & Activities Center, Inc. (WRAC). We would like to take a minute and tell you a few things that are a part of being a board member of the WRAC.

We have a nine-member board that meets once a month for regular board meetings. These meetings usually take 1-2 hours. We have 8 committees that are ongoing with others being added as needed. Depending on what committees you are on, there would be meetings periodically for those.

As a non-profit, the board's biggest responsibility is to raise funds for the WRAC. We currently have three big fundraisers throughout the year. The first one is our birthday celebration and dinner gala in April where we sell tables and have a live and silent auction. The second fundraiser is our biggest and oldest - the rubber duck race during Wray Daze in July. The final fundraiser is our Bundles of Joy and mini-gala/open house the first week of December where we display and auction off all kinds of bundles. These fundraisers do require time and effort from each board member to make them successful.

Within two weeks of your submittal you will be contacted by a Board member who will set up an interview meeting with you. All potential Board members will have the opportunity to attend a Board meeting before joining the Board to get a feel for how it operates.

The WRAC is a great asset to this community, and we THANK YOU for your interest and passion to want to be a part of that. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Dana Hoff, Executive Director.
