    Participants must have strong connection to their Regional or National Evangelical Alliance as demonstrated by the following: A letter from the Evangelical Alliance leadership that endorses the participant and commits to financial support to assist in the costs of transportation and/or ongoing program fees. A cover letter and resume that shows a history of volunteering with their Evangelical Alliance and familiarity with the work and recent history of the Evangelical Alliance.     * June 5 to August 25, 2017 program - Deadline date is March 24, 2017


    Participants will be young leader candidates (25 - 35 years old) with strong future potential demonstrated by the following: • A strong relationship with God and zeal for personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and discipleship. • A recognizable enthusiasm for Christian service within an evangelical context. • Ideally a graduate from a university/college program, or in the final phases of their university/college education. • A strong emotional state of mind and well being suitable for living in a different context. • An ability to read, write and converse in English. Relationship to an Evangelical Alliance or EA Connected Network The purpose of the Fellowship of Emerging Leaders program is to help build capacity within our alliance family. For this reason, a strong relationship with an Evangelical Alliance or connected network is essential for admittance into this program. • All participants will be vetted through their local Evangelical Alliance and therefore need to have an acceptable reference from the national Alliance in their country. • demonstrating previous experience working or volunteering with an Alliance or connected network will receive preference. • All participants must demonstrate the actual or promised commitment by the Evangelical Alliance or connected network to assist in the costs of travel to New York.
