Germanna Community College Diversity and Inclusion Vision Statement:
The vision of the Germanna Community College Diversity and Inclusion Council is to actively promote equity and diversity of faculty, staff, and students to reflect the community that we serve promoting a culture of inclusiveness. This supports the College’s mission statement “As a public, comprehensive community college, Germanna provides accessible, high quality educational and training opportunities that meet our communities’ diverse and changing learning needs.”

Session topics include autism, personal bias, transgender students, black males in the USA, mental health first aid, gang-associated students, students with traumatic brain injuries, homeless students, OER for diversity and inclusion, and men as allies to women.

Our keynote speaker will be Laura Clark from Paul D. Camp Community College who will help us take a look at life as a under-resourced student.
