Women's Hackathon at WVU Travel Scholarship Application
MediaShift is producing our next Hack the Gender Gap: Women's Hackathon on Nov. 9 to 10, 2017, co-produced by the Reed College of Media at West Virginia University. We're convening a group of top students (graduates and undergraduates), faculty and professionals for the weekend Hackathon, with a real-world mission of creating startups in area of diversifying AI. Students will have a chance to collaborate on diverse teams of students with faculty and pro facilitators.

No coding background is needed! The Hackathon is actually more like a Startup Weekend, with the creation of a startup name, business model and pitch deck.

If you are a Fall 2017 undergraduate or graduate college student based in the UNITED STATES, and need financial assistance to travel to West Virginia, please fill out the application below to be considered for a travel stipend. Deadline to apply is October 6, 2017. You can receive up to $400 to cover travel expenses, but will still need to cover other expenses and registration fees. Thanks to OpenNews for helping provide the travel scholarships!
