Orillia Scottish Festival 2024- Vendor Application

Registration is due April 20 2024.  Applicants will be confirmed by May 18.

Two set up times- Friday between 12:00 and 4:00 pm, and Saturday morning from 7:30am.  The Festival is not responsible for any loss or damage to booths or contents or vehicles left in the park overnight.  Overnight camping is not permitted as per the City's regulations.

Vendors must provide their own shelters, chairs and tables.  Organizations must have their own insurance, the Festival is not responsible for any loss or damage.

Vehicles cannot park on the grass as per the City's ordinances.   You will be required to drop off all goods and materials at your location, then proceed to park at the designated location.  (food vendors are excepted if selling from a trailer for example).  All vendors are expected to stay for the duration of the event due to pedestrian and traffic concerns.  Besides, the MASS BAND playing at 6:00pm is really worth seeing!!!

Please complete the form, select the grouping- Community, Market Vendor, Food Vendor, and be sure to select the sizing required.  We have an area to enter special requests.  This will all help with planning and park layout.

Food vendors please note:
Vendors must comply with all Federal, Provincial and Municipal regulations regarding food safety.  A Special Events Permit is required, issued by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, click for link. The permit must be submitted to the Festival by June 1 (email address) as well as to the SMDHU by July 5.  Health officials reserve the right to inspect all food handling practices during the festival.  Vendors are expected to have their own insurance, the Festival is not responsible for any losses or damage.

Power (120Vac, 240Vac) may be available at the location.  Please identify all requirements.  You must provide your own cables.  A 2A10BC fire extinguisher must be present at all times.  If propane or other gases are to be used, the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) paperwork must be readily available.  It will be inspected by Orillia Fire Services!

All cooking oils must be taken with you at the end of the day, the City of Orillia will charge disposal fees otherwise.  

No styrofoam containers are permitted- trays, cups, plates, as they cannot be recycled.  Plastic containers while permitted, as discouraged as they cannot be recycled with food waste on them.
