Dear Princeton negotiating team,
We, the undersigned postdocs and scholars, demand to maintain our right to observe bargaining sessions without unreasonable restrictions imposed by management. We are united in our values of transparency and participatory democracy, for which access to bargaining sessions is essential, and we are committed to bargaining in a timely manner for a strong contract. We follow in the footsteps of postdoc unions at Columbia, Mt. Sinai, the University of Washington, the University of California, and other institutions who have engaged productively in open bargaining.
