I want to start a Grandma Stand™ in my city!
Thank you for your desire to spread grandma goodness and start a stand in your city. What began in NYC in 2012 has now spread to various cities in the U.S. and the world! Please fill out the information below and I'll be in touch to discuss next steps! Please know I and the other cities who've started a stand are here to help every step of the way.

Requirements on your end:

(1) Purchase materials ($800):
In order to start a stand it would require you to purchase the needed materials (i.e. sandwich boards, the stand, signs, etc.) which usually come out to around $800. The Grandma Stand is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, so we do save some money on sales tax and shipping. The item that takes the longest to create/ship is the stand itself which is about 3-5 weeks as a heads up on timing.

(2) Sign a "Trademark License and Services Agreement"

Also, to clarify: you do not need to be the grandma at the stand each time you go out. You can recruit grandmas from assisted living homes, neighbors, friends, etc. to have a rotation of grandmas with different life experiences and personalities. We can share how to best make it work!
