So what is a good neighbor? Besides lending you a cup of sugar, you can always count on a good neighbor to be kind, courteous and follow the golden rule: treating others as they’d like to be treated. They smile and say hello when you see them. Your neighborhood feels safer for your children knowing your good neighbors are always looking out for them. Good neighbors are mindful of how much noise they make and pick up the garbage strewn about after windy days. Most importantly, good neighbors approach you respectfully to resolve conflicts when they arise - after all, it is impossible to avoid conflict when we all live so close to each other.
