BASEES 2018 Panel Proposal

You can see the full proposal form in advance here:

Panels can have 3 or 4 contributors, one of which could be a discussant. Discussants are not a requirement to submit a panel. Where possible, panel organisers should organise a chair for their panel too.

Roundtables should have 4 or 5 contributors alongside a chair.

If you would like to discuss alternative arrangements for your panel or roundtable, then please contact the conference organisers: Dr Matthias Neumann ( and Dr Chris Jones (

1. All participants on panels/roundtables must register and pay the conference registration fee. BASEES members are charged a reduced fee (see for details on membership).
2. Each meeting room will be equipped with a LCD projection setup and a laptop. If you require any other audiovisual equipment, please complete the box below. No equipment can be guaranteed if requested later.
3. By proposing a panel it is assumed you are free to attend the whole period of the conference. While we will consider specific scheduling requests we cannot make any promises that we will be able to comply with them. Please make sure that any such requests are included on the proposal form.

To complete this proposal form, you will require the following:
- Contact details for each participant;
- A paper title and a c. 250 word abstract (not applicable for a roundtable) for each participant;
- If a panel member requires a visa, you will need to enter their passport number, name as it appears on their passport, and
their residential address.
- Details of any audiovisual requirements for the panel/roundtable.
