Advanced Certificate in Plant Quarantine
The FFA, in collaboration with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and several
other regional partner institutions invites you to participate in the Advanced Introduction to Plant Propagation Quarantine certification course.

This certificate provides a general coverage of global phytosanitary issues, concepts related to phytosanitary import regulatory systems, pest risk assessment, pest identification techniques as well as more specialized training in applied entomology, plant pathology, and weed science. It is designed for persons working in or interested in agriculture or agricultural sciences or a related discipline who are seeking a career in plant quarantine.

The course will be offered in a two part certificate in which both components along with the
practical must be completed in order to attain the full award.
The major advantage to offering it in this manner is that participants can do it part-time,
at their own pace, and from their home or office base.

The online course is due to start on June 2024.

The full course has a tuition fee of 2800USD; however, payment plans are available.
