Carceral Worlds Book Launch Registration (online)
This Friday 22 November is the book launch of Carceral Worlds: Legacies, Textures and Futures (2024, Bloomsbury Academic) from 12.00-14.00 CET (Amsterdam wintertime, also know as UTC+1).

For those who are registering now: you can copy the Zoom link from here and we still appreciate you leaving your email address so we can send you a book discount code after the event :)

The event programme:

  2. Introduction to the volume by Hanneke Stuit
  3. Chapter 'tasters' by authors Andrew Burridge, Jonathan Darling, Bruce Stanley and Chris Philo, who will each also draw on resonances with other chapters in the book
  4. Over to Dominique Moran of the Carceral Geography network and Andrew Jefferson of the Global Prisons Research network and their responses to the book
  5. Q&A with the audience
  6. Closing and final words
