Grassroots to Global Interest Form and Grant Application

WER and Childfund Rugby are collaborating to host a Grassroots to Global (G2G) Forum in each WER city.

Forums actively develop leadership and problem-solving skills in participants by creating project proposals that challenge barriers or boost drivers – which can then be used to mobilize community support in each community. 

All participants are provided meals and an exclusive event shirt (guaranteed if applied before 2/7 deadline) Participants that live far from the venue are considered for a hotel grant. 

All women/girls+ ages 16-30 are eligible to apply. Select participants will be invited to attend the Grassroots to Global international event that takes place at the Rugby World Cup in England in the Fall.

Activities include, but are not limited to:
  • Networking sessions
  • Guest speakers
  • Leadership map making
  • Identifying barriers to leadership/coaching 
  • Problem-solving
