Children of Gaia CO presents - ONE YEAR In Solidarity with BIPOC community and Black Lives Matter movement

4-6pm -Kids Corner with K8e Orr - (See @Jibwa Studio)
Learn building basics of creative 3D construction using cardboard and recycled everyday products! We will also learn how to make a Wheat Paste Recipe: ¼ cup Flour, 1 teaspoon Sugar, 2 cups water. For our tutorial, you will need:
- Cardboard
- String
- Elmer's Glue
- Masking or Duct Tape
4-6pm - Doodles with Jeresneyka Rose - (See @Art by Rizzo)
Join Rizzo in a creative doodle session where you will be guided through a simple art process that helps you tap into your life, experiences, and cultural background to create a masterpiece of your own. You don’t need much to get creative! Feel free to use any of your favorite items from home. The Art supply list for the doodle workshop is simple:
- Something to doodle on... such as… a few pieces of blank white printer paper, a sketch book or a notebook with blank paper
- Something to doodle with…such as...pencils, pen, colored pencils, markers, highlighters, etc
4-6pm - Poetry Writing Workshop with Ashley Cornelius (See @Poetry 719)
Join Ashley Cornelius & Poetry719 for a workshop dedicated to creative self-expression and revolution. We’ll be writing about why and who we march for as well as exploring why our voices matter. We’ll facilitate multiple writing prompts and opportunities to share. No prior experience required. We can’t wait to write with you!
