Keeping Your Soil Covered: From Planning to Planting

Curious to learn more about extending cover in your rotation? Come to a cover crops field day near Eyota, MN at the Lawler's farm. We'll cover topics including planting equipment, interseeding cover crops into soybeans & corn,  troubleshooting challenges, terminating & grazing cover crops, cover crop species selection, root structure observations, cost-share programs, and rotating cash crops like winter camelina and oats. We'll follow the event with a great dinner from Heimstead food truck and a beef raffle.
