Event Description:
Join us for the 4th Annual Rainbow Connections Student Wellness Expo, a celebration filled with youth voices, creativity, and community. Explore how we can work together to strengthen mental health and wellness for LGBTQ+ youth across Monterey County. Whether you’re a student, educator, parent or caregiver, ally, or community member, you’re invited to listen, learn, and discover new ways to show up for LGBTQ+ youth.
This year’s Expo will center youth voices, featuring a youth panel and youth speakers sharing their experiences, ideas, and hopes. Hear directly from young people about what helps them feel supported and what they want the adults and communities around them to understand.
Take a stroll through our Rainbow Connection Art Exhibit and enjoy original stickers and artwork created by local students exploring LGBTQ+ mental health, wellness, belonging, and community.
Meet local organizations and members of the Rainbow Connections Provider Network, learn about LGBTQ+ affirming services for youth and families and build relationships with others who care about the well-being of LGBTQ+ people.
Taking place on the kickoff day of Transgender Awareness Week, the Student Wellness Expo is an opportunity to celebrate youth voices, strengthen allyship, and uplift LGBTQ+ young people. Together, we can create communities where LGBTQ+ youth know they are celebrated, seen, valued, and never alone.
Light refreshments and giveaways will be provided. Help us prepare for the Rainbow Connections Student Wellness Expo by completing the RSVP form!

Descripción del evento: Acompáñenos en la 4.ª edición anual de la Expo de Bienestar Estudiantil Rainbow Connections, una celebración llena de voces juveniles, creatividad y comunidad. Explore cómo podemos trabajar juntos para fortalecer la salud mental y el bienestar de los jóvenes LGBTQ+ en todo el condado de Monterey. Ya sea estudiante, educador, padre, madre o cuidador, aliado o miembro de la comunidad, le invitamos a escuchar, aprender y descubrir nuevas formas de apoyar a los jóvenes LGBTQ+.
La Expo de este año dará protagonismo a las voces de los jóvenes, contando con un panel y oradores juveniles que compartirán sus experiencias, ideas y esperanzas. Escuche directamente a los jóvenes hablar sobre qué les hace sentirse apoyados y qué desean que los adultos y las comunidades que les rodean comprendan.
Recorra nuestra exposición de arte de Rainbow Connections y disfrute de calcomanías y obras originales creadas por estudiantes locales, quienes exploran temas como la salud mental LGBTQ+, el bienestar, el sentido de pertenencia y la comunidad.
Conozca a organizaciones locales y miembros de la Red de Proveedores de Rainbow Connections, infórmese sobre servicios que afirman la identidad LGBTQ+ para jóvenes y familias, y establezca vínculos con otras personas interesadas en el bienestar de la comunidad LGBTQ+.
La Expo de Bienestar Estudiantil, que se lleva a cabo el día de inicio de la Semana de Concientización sobre las Personas Transgénero, es una oportunidad para celebrar las voces juveniles, fortalecer el apoyo aliado y empoderar a los jóvenes LGBTQ+. Juntos, podemos crear comunidades donde los jóvenes LGBTQ+ sepan que son celebrados, vistos, valorados y que nunca están solos.
