Thank you for putting a session forward to the Conference. We will take your responses and use them to develop the conference agenda. Your session might be accepted as is, we might get in touch with some suggestions to tweaks in content or delivery, we might try to use it with you to develop a completely new session, or, as there are so many good ideas - we can't take them all. Either way, we want to thank you for submitting an ideas in the first place.
PLEASE READ THIS INFORMATION CAREFULLY
Please tell us about the session you are proposing. We are always interested in collaboration, new presenters, experienced presenters. We want to share practice, ideas and problems.
We want sessions and discussions that are engaging and this year we aim to start as many of those conversations before the event via NUS, Counterculture and Wonkhe by platforming your work on the podcast and in articles. Contact us to get onto one of these platforms!
If you have an idea that's not fully formed, or you need someone to bounce your thoughts off, get in touch with Alan Roberts, who is managing the programme. (
alan@counterculturellp.com ) We will also deliver one or two drop-in sessions whilst submissions are open. Either way, please email Alan and he will be happy to talk to you.
SUBMISSION INFO
#Please make your titles clearly reflect the content of the session. We love amusing titles, but nothing beats clarity for a delegate - so if you can achieve both a clear title with alongside a good pun - well done!
#Please carefully consider the type of session this is - is it more of a presentation, is it a debate, is it an actual ACTUAL workshop (where people are trying to produce a product or information there and then)?
#Please ensure that your session description accurately describes what delegates could expect to take part in.
Session presenters get a 10% discount on their delegate fee, but we only base this on one person from a union presenting in a session (i.e. if you put all of your delegation in the presenter list, you will only get one discount for one of them)
The deadline for proposals is 1pm, Monday 12th May.
