Orphan Annie Rescue Dog Adoption and Foster Application

Thank you for your interest in adopting or fostering with Orphan Annie Rescue! This application serves as both our adoption and foster application.

We often receive multiple applications for the same dog and do not operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Our priority is to find the home that best matches each dog’s unique needs, so please complete the application thoughtfully and thoroughly. The application is detailed and may take some time, so if you’re in a hurry, we recommend waiting until you have enough time to complete it carefully.

Meet and greets are scheduled for Saturday mornings. Please note that we do not hold dogs for adoption. If you are not ready to adopt immediately—for example, if you have an upcoming vacation or are in the process of moving—please wait to apply until you are prepared to welcome a new family member. In other words, if you would not be able to meet and adopt a dog on the Saturday following your application submission, we kindly ask that you delay applying until you are available.

Applicants must reside in Georgia or neighboring states (AL, FL, SC, NC, TN) unless otherwise specified in the dog’s online description. We do not transport dogs, and all meet and greets take place in metro Atlanta.

If you have applied within the past year and are interested in a new dog, please email us at orphanannierescue@gmail.com rather than submitting a new application. Be sure to include the name and email address associated with your previous application.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

As mentioned above, meet and greets are held on Saturday mornings. If your application is chosen, would you be available this Saturday morning to both meet and adopt the dog (taking them home that day)?

If you would not be able to meet and adopt a dog on the Saturday following your completion of this application (you have an upcoming vacation, you are moving, etc), we kindly ask that you wait to apply until you are available.
