High School Conference Committee Application
The Asian American High School Conference is one of the biggest annual AASA events. This conference brings together high school students from around Utah for a day of educational and cultural workshops and provides them with college resources and connections. The conference for this academic year will be virtual and is on March 5th, 2021.

The High School Conference Team will be responsible for planning the conference with Jada. The team will meet regularly throughout December - March and they will also work on various projects of their own. They will have meetings outside of the regular AASA meetings.

Joining the team is a great opportunity for those who are interested in becoming more involved in AASA and taking on a leadership role. These positions will allow you to develop many professional and organizational skills. Please keep in mind that these positions will require time and work outside of regular AASA meetings. You do not need to have attended High School Conference to apply for a position. There are 3 committees with 2 positions available:



Workshop Coordinator
-Contact different departments across campus
-Maintain communication with workshop presenter

Marketing Team
-Plan and develop promotional material
-Film promotional video for the conference

Outreach
-To contact high schoolers and previous attendees
-To coordinate and do community outreach with local organizations
