  • Thursday, June 26th - Friday,  June 27th, 2025
  • Location is in Southern California at University of California Riverside
Our theme for our 31st year is Radical Imagination. Radical Imagination is a call to action—urging us to tap into creativity, radical hope, and community to reshape the future of our work. It invites us to create transformative spaces where healing, sustainability, reformation, and belonging are not just aspirations, but realities.

What we're looking for:
  1. Case studies and/or best practices on how your department/institution has reshaped it’s work to meet the needs of the campus community and has shared the impact of these practices

  2. Innovative approaches to working collaboratively with other cultural or identity based center to address the intersection of identities

  3. Leveraging data driven approaches to enhance the retention of specific populations you serve

  4. Current programs or initiatives that can be easily implemented at other campuses that advance transformative campus climate relations and build a more inclusive campus

  5. Best practice strategies for maneuvering institutional, state, and national political climates with grace and purpose

  6. Self-care strategies tailored for student activists and leaders, as well as diversity affairs professionals/practitioners

  7. Infusing retention and belonging knowledge into virtual and in-person programs, events, and student support services

  8. Best practices on how to incorporate liberation pedagogy and research into practice in programs, learning communities, and/or within cultural centers

  9. Strategies and training that effectively advances equity work among your staff and within your center, office, intersectional identity programming, current issues faced by student communities, etc.

  10. We would also like to invite current students to submit proposals that share their own work including new research, findings, and implications in an engaging format.
